My interest in behavior started long before my dog training career and Pawsitivitaye Pet Sitting. I majored in psychology and have always been fascinated by how individuals learn, communicate, cope, and build confidence. Over time, that same curiosity naturally carried into my work with animals.
That interest grew into 13 years of experience across veterinary medicine, pet sitting, dog training, and grooming. I bring a well-rounded, behavior-informed approach to in-home care and have worked with pets with a wide range of personalities, sensitivities, routines, and needs. I believe care should meet each pet where they are.
After needing care for my own dog and bearded dragon, I understood even more deeply how important it is to feel true peace of mind while you’re away. Pawsitivitaye Pet Sitting was created to provide that kind of care: patient, personalized, communicative, and rooted in positive reinforcement.
Whether your pet is an adventure buddy, a couch potato, a sensitive friend building confidence, or somewhere in between, my goal is to help them feel safe, supported, and understood.
Care Designed Around Your Pet
The goal is never to force a one-size-fits-all plan. Every pet has their own rhythm, comfort level, preferences, and needs, so I start by learning your pet’s normal routine and building care around what helps them feel safe, supported, and successful.
During walks, drop-ins, outings, and overnight care, I naturally weave in mental enrichment, physical activity, and functional real-world skills both inside and outside the home. This may include work on arousal management, impulse control, confidence-building, sniff-based enrichment, settling skills, leash skills, neutrality around distractions, or other skills that fit naturally into your pet’s day.
My goal is to meet your pet where they are, support their comfort, and build practical skills you can continue growing after services are complete.
